My UCM Finally Getting Some Love

Hey, Folks.

Not this past weekend, but the weekend before (April 10^th & 11^th) I managed to get a great deal done on some of my UCM models, specifically 6 Sabres and 9 Rapiers.  I also got the bacecoat, wash and drybrushing worked out on 3 Condors, but ran out of time before I could put the detailed touches on them.

So, as some of you might know, I love my PHR (Post-Human Republic).  It’s my “first” army for Dropzone Commander, and it’s the one that I got fully painted up for Valhalla last October.  Here are a few pictures of my painted PHR models:

1,500 Point DzC Tournament - April 4, 2015 - Mesa, AZ - Coverage Part 0

Hey, Folks.

So we've got a 1,500 point Dropzone Commander tournament underway at Empire Games in Mesa, AZ.  Here are some pictures from last night when I set up the tables.  I was expecting 9 players, and that I'd need to play as the Ringer the first round, then a friend was going to be the Ringer for rounds two and three, but one of the guys decided he'd rather be the Ringer, if needed, meaning if there was a last -minute walk-on or drop, he'd play, but everyone else who registered showed up, so we have 8 players.  I set up 5 tables last night, expecting 10 players, but I'm going to keep the 5th table set up and use it to rotate the different pairs in different rounds so hopefully no one has to play on the same table twice.
