My Painted PHR for Dropzone Commander

Hey, folks.  Just a quick post to really just get some pictures up on the interwebs so I can then post them up on the Hawk Wargames Forum (www.hawkforum.co.uk).


I know some people don't like it when the sensor domes on the PHR models are painted a contrasting color to the bodies, but I liked it when I did these guys, and I was in an almighty rush to get a sizable force painted up for Valhalla last October.  The blue on the bodies is actually a Minitaire Ghost Tint, color "Plasma Fluid".  It's somewhere between a wash and an ink.  I painted on a basecoat over a white primer (Citadel) and then for the second coat mixed the Plasma Fluid with the Minitaire Retarder, which lent everything a kind of "aquatic camo" look.  I liked the end result, so, being pressed for time, I ran with it...
